FULL TRADITIONAL CHINESE MEDICINE (TCM)

This is what many people think of as “acupuncture”, but in reality usually involves much more. A typical treatment consists of an traditional TCM evaluation, acupuncture, and depending on what I see is needed, may include cupping, gua sha, e-stim, or moxibustion, some tui na (Chinese massage) and kinesio-tape, phototherapy, and dietary herbal prescription recommendation. I do not charge extra for these, I like to be able to use all my skills and training without my patients worrying about a-la carte pricing. What is extra is if I need to do acupuncture or other extensive treatment on two sides of the body because of the extra time needed to properly treat both sides of the body with acupuncture..

If appropriate for each individual’s situation, I may make herbal prescription recommendations. Cost of formulas are extra.

First time appointments are approximately 90-120 minutes for a new patient and 75-90 minutes for an existing patient.

Price: $150 + tax for new patients. Established patient treatments: $100+ tax/75\ min & $120+ tax /90 min

Chinese Herbal Medicine & Dietary Therapy Consultatiion

This includes a consultation for Chinese Herbal Medicinal & Chinese Dietary therapy only without acupuncture or any manual therapies.

TCM Herbal therapies are highly individualized and require a comprehensive intake and discussion with patient. There are a wide variety of ways to take Chinese herbs to suit each patients’ needs- in traditional raw herb decoctions, alcohol-free tinctures, pills, capsules and granules. I also compound herbal medications, alcohol free tinctures, salves, and liniments.

One of the pillars of health in TCM is “right eating”. There is much truth to “you are what you eat”! Chinese dietary therapy is tuned into the individuals’ particular constitutional presentation and works to help re-establish balance in the body, thus providing optimal health. This is not a fad diet, but an approach that has been used for nearly 5,000 years to help restore and keep people healthy affordably and sustainably. This appointment can be done in person or by telehealth.

COMMUNITY ACUPUNCTURE

This service is a simpler acupuncture treatment, and is meant for two groups: people looking for treatment for a lower cost, and people who have specific, limited conditions that responds better to more frequent acupuncture, such as arthritis in the limbs, nerve pain issues, insomnia, anxiety/depression, etc. Please see our Community page HERE for more detailed information.
